McLachlan Automotive Sales & Service:

McLachlan Automotive got its start in downtown Trail on July 1, 1982.
In 1987 McLachlan Automotive moved its operation to a larger larger facility to accommodate its growing customer base.
In 1999 a 15,000 square foot auto dealership was purchased and McLachlan Automotive made it's final move.

 

The Growing Years:

Starting out fresh in a large facility did not come without its challenges but proved to be a great decision as our enhanced offers and quality set McLachlan Automotive apart from its competitors.
Since 1999 each year has brought new and exiting changes including:

• Detailing
• Instant Financing
• Extended warranty products
• High quality and affordable older Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUV's
• Premium quality late model Cars, Trucks, SUV's, Cross-overs and Vans
• And now McLachlan Automotive offers High-end vehicles and custom auto purchasing.

Where we're going:

Where we're going is a wonderful question.
It's hard to say at this point but it is safe to say that McLachlan Automotive has always been very progressive as long as the progression is for the benefit of its customers.
It will be interesting to see what shape the business has taken by 2015.

Team Bio:

	Don McLachlan:  (The Chief, the Head Honcho, the Guy at the top who sets the tone and the person who listens to his customers, staff and partner (wife Jeanette). Don started his career as an auto technician for his Dad at a local GM dealership. He started his own 3 bay auto service shop in 1982 and has not looked back since. "It's always a challenge to run a business and in particular during a tough economy. I believe the key is to surround myself with the best people I can, to make sure they understand my values and then ..... let them do their best". "Treat your friends, family, customers and even strangers the way you would want to be treated". McLachlan says that those values have been passed down from his parents.
	Jeanette McLachlan. Accounting: Jeanette has been with McLachlan Automotive since 1982. Always greeting customers with a large and warm smile is her way of welcoming everyone. She loves to tend to her huge garden most of the year and snow sculpts during the winter.
	Mike Degan: Service Department Manager Give Mike a call for any of your servicing needs. Mike has an extensive background as a Service Manager and is also a Parts Manger. Mike and his service staff only proceed with authorized maintenance or repairs.
	Willie Thompson: Auto Technician Willie has been with McLachlan for almost 15 years. As one of Trail's best auto technicians, Willie's abilities include: Diagnostics, Import vehicles and Willie puts a high value on Quality workmanship.
	Mike Pisacreta: Auto Technician Mike is a factory trained GM technician and brings years of experiance to McLachlan Automotive. Mike's main goal is to make sure your vehicles maintenance or repairs are done right the first time.

Jason Pettijohn: Customer service, Detailing Jason is the person who makes your car shine when it leaves McLachlan Auto. You are always guaranteed to get a warm and friendly smile from Jason.
